Nice Stay!
stocked bar modern hotel guitar room free wifi
The room had a guitar. That was a nice touch! The room included a fully stocked bar and fridge. Free WiFi access was available. The hotel design felt hip and modern, and the hotel played jazz music upon arrival. The room also offered comfortable city views.
I found the window blinds a bit cumbersome to operate.
Facilities
8/10
The gym was quite small. That is true. The hotel has two bars. There is also a restaurant on site, offering more formal dining options. I noticed higher-end fare available.
Location
9/10
The hotel has an excellent location. Guests can easily walk to various restaurants. Queen Street West is accessible for restaurants, shopping, and parks. I found many things within walking distance. This was convenient.
Dining
10/10
The hotel features a lobby bar. The restaurant offered really great service. The hotel was mentioned in the Michelin guide. The food was AMAZING!!!
Service
10/10
Staff were polite and helpful. I found this valuable. They met needs immediately. Service was above my expectations. One kind lady at the reception gave me free coffee.

a mixed bag, style over substance
inadequate surface area flimsy blinds
my room (a king room, supposedly) lacked basic amenities. there was hardly any surface area to place my things, just a tiny bistro table and an uncomfortable wooden chair. the blinds were flimsy and didn't block out light or provide much privacy. also, one night, loud music from a party downstairs kept me awake. the staff acted like they couldn't do anything about it. it seems sleep comfort is not a priority here.

Excellent Stay with Great Amenities
stocked mini fridge excellent location high-end food superb service
The room included a mini fridge fully stocked with various snacks and beverages. I appreciated the bath and body care products provided. The hotel's location is excellent. It is easy to walk to restaurants on King Street West. I also liked the lobby bar, though it was busy, and the restaurant offered high-end food with superb service.
The gym was rather small considering the size of the hotel.
Dining
9/10
The hotel restaurant, Alder, was listed in the Michelin guide. I ordered room service several times. Each meal was delicious. Breakfast was great (especially the pancakes!).
Location
10/10
The hotel is situated in a trendy area near a park, a food hall, and boutiques. It is across from a park and a block or two from shops, restaurants, coffee houses, and the streetcar. Public parking was conveniently available directly next door.
Rooms
9/10
The rooms were comfortable and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The window box desk and sitting area were especially beautiful. My room on the 15th floor offered an amazing view of the CN Tower.
Facilities
9/10
The rooftop bar and lounge were amazing. I particularly enjoyed the retro Bluetooth radio in the room. The shower heated up very quickly and it was comfortable.
Service
10/10
Check-in was well-organized, and I received an upgrade in celebration of an event. The front desk staff was friendly and cute. Staff were very good and put out a kind note and complimentary champagne.
